This asaya / tahtib stick is imported from Egypt and is perfect for Raks Al Assaya (cane / stick dance), belly dance, saidi (upper Egypt dances), and tahtib dance. This product is handmade from natural bamboo wood and will vary in dimensions for sizing, pattern, and color.
APPROXIMATE SIZING / MEASUREMENTS:
Diameter: approx .75 inches
Circumference: between 2.25 to 2.75 inches

very sturdy
This staff is very sturdy and has a very satisfying thwack when you hit the floor. If you are a hard twacker go with the thicker heavier one.
